The Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) is in its sixteenth season and this edition has had its fair share of twists, turns, and injuries in its first week. Halfway through the first set of games, many players have picked up injuries across franchises.
The opening game between defending champions Gujarat Titans and four-time winners Chennai Super Kings should have been a valid highlight. However, fan disappointment seems to be quite high with several player injuries recorded before and during the current season.
Fans are delighted with the resumption of two-tie game formats in the IPL, but many star players left out due to injury seems to be a major blow.
Many star players didn’t make the final cut this season with preseason injury trouble. Recent injuries among listed players in different franchises seems to be too rampant for fans to stomach.
Let’s see the full list of players out at this year’s IPL and other information about the IPL 2023 Injured 11.
Tata IPL 2023 Full Injured Players list – IPL 2023 Injured 11
1. Will Jacks (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Will Jacks is an English all-rounder and one of the players out due to injury at this season’s IPL. The experienced player was on the list of players to watch before the season started. He has had to grapple with a recurring injury right before the IPL’s scheduled kick-off week. His absence is a big blow to the RCB’s title-winning plans.
2. Shreyas Iyer (Kolkata Knight Riders)
The Kolkata Knight Riders will have to progress at this year’s IPL without Shreyas Iyer. The skipper has to undergo surgery to recover from back problems and is scheduled to miss every game this season. Iyer will also be unavailable for his national team at the World Test Championship final later this year.
3. Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals)
