Zainab Abbas was born to a domestic league cricketer father and politician mother. She comes from one of Lahore’s most popular families with both parents featuring in public activities throughout their active careers.
Zainab’s father Nasir played for Hafizabad and Faisalabad cricket teams. He was a bowler for many seasons in Pakistan’s top domestic leagues and also attended the same college Ramiz Raja graduated from in his youth.
Abbas’ mother still maintains her role as one of Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s women leaders and is a senior member of the party.
